Since 2018, Jason has been an evangelist for the Desktop Linux ecosystem. After adopting Linux as his daily driver, Jason pivoted his full-time tech coverage at Forbes to focus exclusively on exploring the thrilling world of Linux distributions, open source software, and the community creating it.
He racked up millions of page views at Forbes with his engaging and conversational approach to Linux and FOSS, making it accessible for the masses and approachable for beginners. He’s worked with and interviewed key leaders in the Linux world including Canonical, Valve, Red Hat, Lenovo, and Microsoft.
In 2022, Jason took his love for open source and community building to Mozilla, where he works full time as Thunderbird's Marketing Manager.
